Good Gaggia Classic?
« on: July 08, 2017, 03:32:48 PM »
Hello,

Is the Gaggia SIN 035 (Classic) RI8161/40 (Made in Romania in 2011) the good classic?

Thank you very much!

no, it has a different serial number: that one is RI9303 and this one is RI8161.

It depends on what you consider the good classic. There are shared opinions on the aluminium boiler, for instance.
I bought from Amazon UK the RI8161/40 model made in 2012. It came with a power cord with UK plug. Otherwise it has the anodized aluminium boiler and solenoid valve, like the RI9303 series.
