test pressure for gaggia classic 2015 model
« on: May 01, 2017, 12:10:09 AM »
Hello gug I hope you are doing great.

actually I'm planning to test the pressure of my gaggia 2015,Since gaggia classic 2015 has no 3-way Valve,
Is this kind of test may cause any damage to my machine? like the pump or anything else, I'm not expert in these things.

and which type of test shall I use for better result, and what is the different between the 2 test which is shown below?

Again I'm not good in these staff so be patient for any silly questions :P
Regards

No need to worry about your Gaggia 2015. It will survive the pressure test whithout any trouble.

The second test will be more optimal since you can simulate the flow of an espresso while you measure the pressure.

With my Gaggia 2015 I found around 10 bar at a flow of around 1 ml/sec, almost perfect without any need to adjust the pressure.

Thanks for answering me, I have tested my gaggia and Fortunately mine is reading 9 bar on the gauge attached to the portafilter.

So no any adjustments 9 bar out of the box.

Thanks phillips  ;D
